The main problem with "Insidious: Chapter 3" is that it doesn't need to exist. Yet I have to admit that "Insidious: Chapter 3" did manage to get under my skin and make me jump.

"Jaws" is my favorite movie of all time.

"The Defender" was a reasonably fun, if unremarkable experience that helped reignite interest in Dolph Lundgren's sagging career. It was also his big directorial debut!

Anything "Poltergeist (2015)" does, the 1982 original did better.

"Duel of the Century" and I made sweet, passionate love.

"The Wandering Swordsman" is a good movie that might even be great, reminding me that before choreography became the focus of the genre, Hong Kong productions could be as sophisticated as anyone else. The writing, direction, cinematography, acting, editing and productions values are pretty impressive, although the choreography is pretty unimpressive in retrospect.

"Maggie" is a drama that just happens to have a horror setting (zombie apocalypse) and an action star (Arnold Schwarzenegger) playing the lead.

"Dragon Princess" is one of those frustrating experiences where you can practically see a martial arts classic hiding beneath the surface, but every time it tries to show itself, crappy writing punches it in the balls.

"Five Fingers of Death" is filled with intense fight sequences, but also is blessed with an ambitious story and intriguing characters.

"Death Duel of Kung Fu" might be a crappy movie, but it is an excellent kung fu movie.
