"Kung Fu Killer" is simultaneously a bad movie and a good kung fu flick, so enjoying this comes down to what you want out of it.

"The Babadook" is really a terse family drama dressed as a horror flick, although I don't want you to assume that it's not scary. This movie can actually be very terrifying, but it's less about ghosts jumping out at you and more about the psychological deterioration of its protagonist- which is either being caused by the specter or is the cause of the specter.

If "Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace" isn't as bad as everyone says it is, that's only because it is worse. Far...far...worse...

"Dragonball Z: Resurrection F" was f@cking awesome, although I have to admit that part of me suspects I'm critiquing the experience more than the actual movie. I saw this in theaters with an energetic crowd and their enthusiasm was contagious.

"Pound of Flesh"- starring Jean-Claude Van Damme- wasn't a very good movie...It's not terrible though, even occasionally offering a good piece in a mostly subpar puzzle. I'd say that the arc of this review is: "It could've been better...".

"The Vatican Tapes" is...just...there. It transcends both 'good' and 'bad', being the reason why the term 'mediocre' exists. I feel like I've seen it before in the form of every other possession movie.

The problem is that "The Empire Strikes Back" had better editing, cinematography, direction, dialogue, acting and everything. It set the bar so high that I have to be careful not to sound too negative when speaking of the third entry, as "Return of the Jedi" feels so inferior in comparison- even though it's pretty good in almost every way.

"Premature Burial" is pretty good, but it's overshadowed by similar, albeit better, movies.
