“MartialHorror” is a website dedicated to my two favorite film genre’s: Martial arts and horror. While I do make special exceptions as to what I review, the website mainly focuses on these two genres. However, I also use the focus somewhat liberally. If a movie simply has martial arts, or has it’s scary moments, I may also review them.

I can't say that "Rabid" is a great movie. If anything, I thought it was rather crude and shallow despite Cronenbergs attempts at sexually charged symbolism and social commentary. Yet I was also taken aback by the ambition and creativity, even though I should be used to this from Cronenberg by now.
  2. “A Force of One (1979)” movie review.

"A Force of One" has a pretty cool, if a bit absurd, concept going for it. Who doesn't like the idea of Chuck Norris training police officers to fend off a cop killing serial killer, while he prepares for a climactic fight with Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace?
  3. “Magnificent Warriors (1987)” movie review.

Amusingly, ripping off Indiana Jones probably made "Magnificent Warriors" into the most original kung fu flick since...ever...I expect characters to introduce their fists to the faces of their enemies, but I don't expect aerial combat, fedoras and explosive car chases.
