Make no mistake, "The Big Boss" is NOT a good movie. But the badness, mixed with the weirdness, creates an eccentric atmosphere that I personally found appealing. Yet more importantly, it's weaknesses contributed to Bruce Lee's strengths, enhancing his effectiveness.
  2. “28 Days Later (2002)” movie review.

Is “28 Days Later” a zombie classic? Well, no...because it's not even a zombie movie. I do still believe that it's overrated, but as an adult, I can appreciate the substance within the story and the artistry put in every frame.
  3. “Ninja’s Creed (2009)” movie review.

I've seen plenty of bad movies in my time. In fact, I like to describe myself as a cinemasochist. Yet nothing could prepare me for “Ninja's Creed”, a film so insanely bad that the mere thought of its existence sends a shiver down my spine.
  4. “House of Fury (2005)” movie review.

Is it corny? Definitely. Is it stupid? Sometimes. Is it original? Not really, think “Spy Kids”, but with kung fu. It's heavy handed in its attempts at drama, but is sort of shallow. Yet there is a charm about the feature, a sweetness that is very heartwarming. It also provided some of the best on-screen fight scenes ever done by people who aren't real martial artists.
  5. “Don’t Answer The Phone! (1980)” movie review.

“Don't Answer the Phone!” is a bad movie. It's a really bad movie, but it's almost enjoyable in the same way that “Blood Feast” and “Troll 2” are. You just can't help laughing at it and I suppose some entertainment value is better than a bore-fest. But children, remember that the key word is 'almost'.
  6. “Sector 7 (2011)” movie review.

“Sector 7” answers the question of 'what if “The Host” sucked?'. It fails in all of its goals and was just kind of dull. It's a shame, because I do usually enjoy monster movies that take place in isolated locations.
  7. “The Invisible Man (1933)” movie review.

"The Invisible Man" really surprised me. It was daring and bold, dealing with a chilling subject matter that plays out as a black comedy. It completely goes against the grain, but retains the class and respectability that accompanies these older films.
