1. “Chinese Zodiac (2012)” movie review.

"Chinese Zodiac" was condemned by the critics for feeling like your conventional Jackie Chan movie, albeit with watered down stunts, gimmicks and fight scenes. I technically do agree with the majority of their points, so why did I have so much fun with it?
  2. “Dragonball Z: Bio-Broly (1994)” movie review.

“Bio-Broly” might be guilty of exploiting Broly’s namesake, but I think it’s an entertaining serial film which benefits from focusing more on the supporting cast of the Dragonball universe, while also…well, not pissing on the actual character of Broly.
  3. “Force of Execution (2013)” movie review.

Now we have “Force of Execution”, a bad step in the right direction…Erm, that doesn’t make a lot of sense, but to be fair, nor does the title. Nor does the plot. Yet at least everyone- from the actors to the director to the writer(s)- seemed to be trying to make an enjoyable flick. They didn't really accomplish their mission, but they didn't fail miserably either.
  4. “The Raid 2: Berandal (2014)” movie review.

Now, if you are a fan of "The Raid: Redemption", or you're one of its few detractors, I want you to throw all those feelings out when approaching the sequel. Because even though "The Raid 2" has the title and some of the same characters and a hard-on for gory fight sequences, they are VASTLY different movies.
  5. “Dragonball Z: Bojack Unbound (1993)” movie review.

"Bojack Unbound" is interesting because it has everything I like and dislike about the Dragonball Z serial flicks. The film contains an intense civil war between bad and good, with the winner depending entirely on the viewers personal preferences. But even though it's really uneven, at least it stands out.
  6. “Dragonball Z: Super Android 13! (1992)” movie review.

"Dragonball Z: Super Android 13!" is the only serial film that doesn't just ignore the established continuity...It urinates acid onto it, creating holes that will mind rape us fans. That sounds pretty bad, right? Oddly, no. This film is just unpretentious fun, showcasing nothing but Goku, Trunks and Vegeta participating in thoroughly enjoyable battles.
