"Howling VI: The Freaks" is technically the best of the Howling sequels, but it achieves this by being OK in every way, making the movie a little too average for my tastes. Considering it's about a werewolf and vampire dueling wits in a circus troupe, I should be squealing in joy instead of shrugging indifferently!

"Puppet Master 3: Toulon's Revenge" showcases Blade, Leech Woman, Jester and the other demonic puppets inflicting brutal punishment on deplorable Nazi's and the filmmakers are clearly having a blast with the concept. Demonic Puppets Vs Nazi's!!! Puppets terrorizing Nazi's!!! All I have to do is repeat the same thing over and over again, which is enough to sum up my feelings towards this film.

While viewing "Dragonball Z: Lord Slug", I felt like I was watching a two episode filler arc whose only purpose was to kill time so the manga could catch up. Hell, this felt even more fillery than The Garlic Jr Saga, which WAS a short filler arc whose only purpose was to kill time so the manga could catch up.

"Dragonball Z: The Tree of Might" seems like it wants to be more epic than your usual serial film, yet the characters are wasted and the story ends abruptly...yet it's also more epic than its predecessors and I was consistently entertained- despite its 'too long, yet not long enough' runningtime.

There are so many cliches that the only traits which give this movie any kind of identity are the bad things. Well, I guess bad is a strong word. Unintentionally hilarious things? That's probably more fitting. But it was better than I thought it would be, which has to mean something.
