"The Howling Reborn"- which attempted to cash-in on the "Twilight" craze- tries to be for everyone and yet it ultimately ends up being for no one, except maybe those cinematic masochists who wish to endure the entirety of the Howling franchise...like me...and you know what? I'm not even sure if this is for us because "The Howling Reborn" isn't even bad enough to satisfy my self destructive cravings.

The problem with “Kiss of the Damned” is it aims to please the arthouse crowd, but it’s not good enough to really be considered a high brow film. Still, as far as erotic vampire films go, it was pretty erotic…You'll either like or loathe it. I'm still not sure what I feel myself.

While yes, "Snow White and the Huntsman" does contain a mundane love triangle that I'm sure was only present due to Kristen Stewart playing the leading lady, it resists the urge to focus on that crap and instead just wants us to feast our eyes on glorious sets, lavish scenery and fascinating creature designs
  4. “The Hunger Games (2012)” movie review.

“The Hunger Games” is one of those movies where half of the crowd will hail it as an instant classic, a stellar example of all around great film-making! Everyone else will complain about its fans, who over-hyped what is a good movie, but nothing special. Expectations can be a movies best friend or its worst enemy, depending on what the public says about it. I entered the film with no real hopes or concerns about the movie. I hadn't read the books and the trailer simultaneously made the film look epic but “Twilight”-ish. Plus, the premise isn't especially original, but it's one I continue to enjoy. So now that I've seen the film, which party am I? Both.
