"Daughter of Darkness" is one of the better Category III films I have seen thanks to the acting, but it is a typical example of its ilk. You have to contend with drowning in a pool of sleaze, while enduring its bizarre mating of rape and comedy.

“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” does have its share of flaws, but it also has to be one of the most unsettling and brutal exploitation films I have ever seen, which is quite the accomplishment for a film that contains little on-screen bloodshed.

“I Spit on Your Grave 2” might take place in a different country and might have made a few changes to the formula, but once again, it’s just a lot of raping and a lot of torturing. Eventually you’re doomed to become desensitized to the brutality and when that happens, the movie just becomes sort of boring…and I got used to it during the first 30 minutes…

“Trail of Blood” is a decent film, but there's something erratic about it. It's strengths and weaknesses are constantly crossing swords with each-other, but every time one begins to overpower the other, it turns out to be a ruse and the tides turn. But who won? For me, the battle is still ongoing.
