“Halloween II (1981)” movie review.

I've always had a...complex and unstable relationship with (the original) "Halloween 2". Depending on my mood, I will view the movie as a solid slasher and a worthy followup to "Halloween"- a classic within the genre. But the cynic in me will also notice that "Halloween 2" foreshadows a problem that would ultimately ruin the franchise (for me).

"Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" wasn't unwatchable and I'd say it's A LITTLE better than the fourth, but it's a study in why this franchise has become so stale.

"Attack on Titan: Part 2" might be an improvement over its predecessor, but it's better in the same way that "Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones" is better than "Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace", which is a bit of a backhanded compliment.

When I first heard about "Skin Trade", my immediate thought was: "Is this a step up for Dolph Lundgren? Or a step down for Tony Jaa"?. Nevertheless, I was intrigued to see the two martial artists collide and my mouth began to water as the cast expanded. Ron Perlman, Peter Weller and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa are awesome enough as it is, but Michael Jai White too? I'm...I'm pretty sure I just came a little...

"Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith" only seems like a good film because it followed two significantly crappier films, but I was willing to join the dark side of the review and accept it as the only worthy prequel.

"Attack on Titan: Part 1" won't likely satisfy anyone, as it's a weak adaptation, a weak standalone film and doesn't excel in the action or horror departments. But it's not unwatchable either and can even be enjoyable with the right crowd.

I didn't think "The Green Inferno" excelled as a movie, as a horror movie or as an Italian-styled Cannibal movie. I don't really hate it, but I almost feel like that is worse, as it shows how detached and uninterested I was. I've enjoyed talking about it, but I felt very little while watching it.
