Bad will always be bad, but "Howling: New Moon Rising" is a special kind of evil- one that represents everything I deplore about cheap sequels, from stock footage abuse to padding to terrible everything, causing the traumatic experiences of the Puppet Master franchise to resurface.

"Howling VI: The Freaks" is technically the best of the Howling sequels, but it achieves this by being OK in every way, making the movie a little too average for my tastes. Considering it's about a werewolf and vampire dueling wits in a circus troupe, I should be squealing in joy instead of shrugging indifferently!

The tragic thing about “The Beast Must Die” is if it had more money at its disposal, it could've been a very good movie. The concept alone gives me tingles! It's pretty much “10 Little Indians” (or “And Then There Were Done”), but with a freaking werewolf.
