Now, if you are a fan of "The Raid: Redemption", or you're one of its few detractors, I want you to throw all those feelings out when approaching the sequel. Because even though "The Raid 2" has the title and some of the same characters and a hard-on for gory fight sequences, they are VASTLY different movies.
“V/H/S/2” mastered the formula of its predecessor, being incredibly well paced- a rarity for any anthology- and improved the quality of each individual short, while making sure the tone was consistent. It also helps that the film is pretty scary.
“Man of Tai Chi” is not a great film, as the story is pretty convoluted, but it is a great martial arts flick. Besides boasting some AWESOME fight scenes, it also finds interesting ways to work around the stale clichés which usually plague this kind of story.
